Announces Priest Appointments for 2008

The Most Reverend Salvatore R. Matano has released this year's Priest Appointments for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Burlington. Some 34 priests are involved in new assignments effective July 1st, 2008.

The Most Reverend Salvatore R. Matano, Bishop of Burlington, hereby makes the following appointments:

Bishop Salvatore R. Matano accepted the resignation of Reverend Stephen J. Nichols as Pastor of St. Elizabeth Parish in Lyndonville, Vermont and Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish in Danville, Vermont. (Presented and accepted on June 6, 2007). Father Nichols remains on a leave of absence.
